THE Bahrain-based Alwardi Group, dealers in heavy vehicles, plant and equipment, recently signed a deal with Orient Motors, a subsidiary of Zayani Motors, marking its investment in FAW trucks.

The deal was signed for a FAW J6 truck featuring a sleeper cab for two which will be used for hauling utility trailers.

"FAW is a well-recognised name in the Middle East especially in Saudi, Qatar and the UAE. We find that it is suitably engineered to suit our requirements especially when it comes to hauling trailers for long routes," said Turki Alwardi, managing director of Alwardi Group.
