Key officials of the Bahrain Property Developers Association (BaPDA) and Tamkeen met to discuss ways in which the two organisations, which have concurring philosophies and goals, can work together to create new opportunities.

The BaPDA delegation represented by board chairman Aaref Hejres and vice-chairman Dr Hassan Al Bastaki met with Tamkeen's vice-president for enterprise and human capital development Dr Ahmed Abdul Ghani Al Shaikh to discuss organising workshops that will be accredited to participants as a 'certificate in real estate development'.

Further to this meeting , Mr Hejres said: "BaPDA was formed with high-minded values and goals. It is our vision to help create a new generation of property developers, creating a pool of professionals to serve local as well as regional job requirements, while providing employment opportunities for Bahrainis. BaPDA has a number of ambitious plans, amongst which will be partnering with Tamkeen in order to make significant contributions towards achieving the goals of the kingdom's Vision 2030."

The discussions between BaPDA and Tamkeen also covered areas of possible co-operation, including the initiation of continuing education programmes through workshops and seminars, specialising in architecture, landscaping, town planning, electrical and other such relevant disciplines.
