The CinŽ-club will showcase French movie Quand on Sera Grand at the Centre Culturel Franco-Bahre•nien La Maison Jamsheer in Muharraq at 7.30pm. Alosra supermarket in Amwaj Islands will host a family fun day from 10am to 4pm. Children can enter a drawing competition which starts at noon and the winner's art will be displayed in the new supermarket. Tomorrow 'Dealing with Back Problems' will be held from 6.15pm to 9.15pm, 'Removing Blocks for Personal Progress' will be staged on Monday from 9.30am-noon and a 'Tree Essences and Healing' workshop will be held from 9.30am-12.30pm on Tuesday.

Monday (March 14)

The Al Riwaq Art Space in Adliya will host a digital photography for beginners course every Saturday and Monday until April 16. It will focus on two parts - the theory of basic photography and the practical and hands-on experience. Topics include the understanding of a camera's construction and control, lenses and exposure. It starts from 6.30pm to 8.30pm every Monday and from 10am to 12pm every Saturday. The BD60 workshop will be conducted by Nedhal Nooh. For details contact 17717441.

An International poetry festival organised by Le Printemps des Potes, supported by the French Ministry of Culture and French Ministry of Education will take place at the Centre Culturel Franco-Bahre•nien La Maison Jamsheer in Muharraq at 7.30pm. The evening will exhibit works in French, English and Arabic alongside poetry reading.
