The G37, pictured left, is the latest model from Infiniti, the luxury arm of Japanese car firm Nissan, but it's improbable that this bling touch can be ordered from the factory.

The modification was specially commissioned by the owners of a Chinese jewellery store to promote its merchandise.

It had taken a team of five artisans over five months to cover the car with gold. However, it took police only minutes to arrange for it to be towed away. It was impounded, pictured below, after it was discovered it had no registration.
