Bahrain-born Saudi national and contemporary artist Faisal Samra is exhibiting his first solo show at Traffic in Dubai. His exhibition 'Resistance' will run until May 11. He fuses digital photography, painting, sculpture, video and performance to explore different states of the human condition.

Faisal has had over 25 solo exhibitions and participated in over 50 group shows around the world. A former student at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris, he has studied, worked and taught in New York, Jordan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and France.

His work has been acquired by museums and private collections, including the Bahrain National Museum in Manama, British Museum in London, Institute de Monde Arabe in Paris and the National Museum in Mexico City, amongst others.
