The child within

AS Ron Wild once very wisely said; seek the wisdom of the ages, but look at the world through the eyes of a child.

The eye of a child, the perspective of children, what is it? Try shouting at them or express anger, their immediate reaction would be of dislike and hurt, but at the very next instance they will come back to you and start playing again. They hold no grudges. Why?

Why do we adults bear grudges and hold onto things for too long? Why are we so unforgiving? We don't know, we never think about it, we never observe it and we surrender to reactions which are created by us to begin with.

Life is nothing but energy and the energy functions best when it is in a constant flow of movement.

A thought comes to us to offer a colleague or friend a glass of water, but due to the way our mind functions it rejects the thought by saying: "I am too tired, or why should I even bother?"

The moment we interpret that very thought, we hinder the flow of energy; that thought, moment, breath of life.

We end up creating a dense impression which then saves itself and creates a memory. Memory is nothing but a collection of dense impressions cast by our own interpretations.

Children don't really do that, they don't really function that way; they are far more alert, active, attentive and intuitive than we adults.

They are curious, they follow thoughts and energies without interpreting them and they keep discovering new things. They don't interpret, they don't collect, they are not dense. They are not heavy, they are light, they are playful, they are filled with joy, and hence, they rejoice life.

A child is more in tune with the laws of nature and the universe. A child is more unconditional, a child is more universal.

Symbolically mother is 'mother earth', both universal and unconditional. A child which has very recently come out of the mother's womb has no stored impressions, no memories. He is fresh, so his every reaction is brand new, just like the air, oxygen, sun and they serve every creation of the creator equally, without discriminating.

A child has no individual preference; his preference is the one of nature, the universe. He has not yet experienced the separation of his existence from the universe.

Moments are a breath of life. We breathe, by inhaling and exhaling the breath without holding it, or we end up choked.

Moments should be lived the same way, in a flow, each moment has a new message, new information a new vision. Don't hold it, don't choke it - simply allow it to flow.
