Friends are really cool, especially those who encourage you to try something you’ve never done before. Recently, I’ve been introduced to a great pastime - painting. But it isn’t using oils or pastels but painting little ceramic items with lots of wacky colours in a well laid-out café.
At first I thought it was a crèche for parents to leave their over excitable kids whilst going shopping but, on closer inspection, it is aimed at adults too.
You stroll around looking at all the ceramic items available and let your imagination run wild. From a plate or an ashtray right through to a dragon or cute frog, with your chosen item in hand you head to a table and pick your colours. But, beware, you can spend hours there and leave feeling so relaxed you’ve forgotten what day it is! So, with my new found addiction, I must offer some songs to go with the theme:
