Film – Cloverfield on MBC 2 at 11pm
A group of friends throw a party for Rob, who is leaving New York to work in Japan. As the party progresses, violent shakes and explosions herald the arrival of an unknown creature, which begins its rampage by knocking the Statue of Liberty’s head off down the street. Told from the viewfinder of their video camera, Cloverfield shows how Rob and his friends venture deep into the streets of New York, determined to rescue Rob’s true love from her destroyed apartment building in midtown.

Film – Forrest Gump on OSN Movies Festival at 9pm
Despite his low IQ, Forrest Gump leads a truly charmed life. Entirely without trying, he teaches Elvis Presley to dance, becomes a football star, meets John F Kennedy, serves in Vietnam, defeats the Chinese national team in table tennis, opens a shrimping business and becomes an original investor in Apple Computers. Meanwhile, as the remarkable parade of his life goes by, Forrest never forgets Jenny, the girl he’s loved since childhood.

Film – The Other Guys on OSN Premiere at 9pm
Terry Hoitz’s past mistakes in the line of duty and Allen Gamble’s reluctance to take risks have landed them the roles of the ‘Other Guys’, disgraced police detectives relegated to filling out paperwork for cocky hero cops Danson and Highsmith. The mismatched duo must look past their differences when they take on a high-profile investigation of shady capitalist David Ershon and attempt to fill the shoes of the notoriously reckless officers they idolise.

Film – The Astronaut’s Wife on MBC 2 at 5pm
Spencer Armacost is an astronaut on a routine mission in space when something goes horribly wrong. However, he is rescued at the last moment and returns to Earth a hero. He soon announces that he’s retiring from space exploration to spend more time with his wife Jillian. However, once she becomes pregnant she starts to notice something odd about her husband and as her pregnancy advances, her anxieties increase.

Film – Babel on MBC 2 at 9pm
Four interlocking stories are all connected by a single gun. In Morocco, a troubled married couple is on vacation trying to work out their differences. Meanwhile, a Moroccan herder buys a rifle for his sons so they can keep the jackals away from his herd. A girl in Japan deals with rejection, the death of her mother and the emotional distance of her father. Then, on the opposite side of the world the married couple’s nanny takes their two children with her to her son’s wedding in Mexico, but trouble looms on the trip home.

Film – 27 Dresses on MBC 2 at 9pm
Jane is career-oriented and secretly in love with her employer, George. She spends much of her time as a bridesmaid, and has 27 dresses as evidence. However, her structured and ordered life comes unhinged when her younger sister, Tess, re-enters her life. Meanwhile, she meets Kevin, a reporter who decides to publish Jane’s secret and her overwhelming wardrobe. Things get even more complicated when Jane finds out she may end up losing George to her sister.

Film – My Name is Khan on OSN Cinema at 9pm
My Name Is Khan is the triumphant story of an unconventional hero and the obstacles he must overcome to regain the love of his life. Rizvan Khan, a Muslim man who has aspersers syndrome, moves to San Francisco and falls in love with the beautiful Mandira. They marry and have a happy life; until September 11, 2001, when attitudes towards Muslims undergo an alarming change.
