Junaid for Perfumes unveiled its new masculine fragrance, Hajar Oud, at a ceremony in the Awali Ballroom in the Sheraton Hotel.
With a richness that overwhelms the senses, it captures the true essence of Arabia and offers a sophisticated blend of oriental and fruity elements.
Marketing manager Obaid Siddiqui, while testing the perfume on a guest, explained: “This dignified fragrance opens on a citrusy top note of mandarin and lemon with a hint of spicy cardamom that finally intensifies on the woodiness of sandalwood and strong concentrates of pure oud oils.”
Public relations manager Seham Al Shammary added: “Hajar Oud is the newest edition to the original Hajar that was launched in 1999. The enhanced masculine fragrance exhibits a dynamic personality and marks the first of our perfumes to be introduced for the coming season.”
The new perfume will make its entry into the regional market with its launch at the Kuwait Autumn Perfumes Exhibition this week in Mishref. Priced at BD12 for a 100ml spray, the spirit of Hajar Oud is captured in a hand-painted rustic bottle encrusted with mahogany coloured stones.
Bahrain-based Junaid for Perfumes has released a variety of scents every year since its establishment in 1910.
