Series – Angry Boys at 10pm on OSN Comedy
This mockumentary series explores the issues faced by young males in the 21st Century – their influences, pressures, dreams and ambitions. Chris Lilley plays multiple characters including an American rapper, a manipulative Japanese mother, a champion surfer, a guard at a juvenile detention facility and several children.

Film – Death Proof at 8pm on MBC Action
A group of ladies are pitted against a mysterious figure named ‘Stuntman’ Mike, whose vintage car has been partially modified to withstand even the most extreme collision. The driver always comes out unscathed but the same can’t be said for whoever is in his passenger seat – or anyone unfortunate enough to be on the road when his urge to kill strikes.

Series – How I Met Your Mother at 7.30pm on MBC4
The year is 2030 and Ted Mosby is relaying the story of how he met his wife to his daughter and son. The story starts in 2005, when a 27-year-old Ted was desperate to get married after his best friend from college, Marshal, weds his sweetheart, Lilly. Ted’s new quest in life was much to the dismay of his womanising friend, Barney.

Two of the world’s most elite operatives Danny, an ex-special forces agent and Hunter, his longtime mentor are pitted against the cunning leader of a secret military society. Covering the globe from Australia to Paris, London and the Middle East, Danny and Hunter are plunged into a highly dangerous game of cat and mouse where predators become the prey.

Film – Shrek Forever After at 9pm on OSN Cinema
Shrek is happily married to Princess Fiona and raising triplets. However, when he realises that his public persona has become soft, he recruits mischief maker Rumpelstiltskin to help restore his roar. An unexpected hitch causes the morose monster to end up in an alternate version of Far Far Away. Now Shrek has to regain his status as the top ogre in town and find his happily ever after all over again.

Film – SAW VI at 11pm on MBC2
Saw VI concludes the second trilogy of the series that focused on the posthumous effects of the Jigsaw Killer and the progression of his successor, Detective Mark Hoffman. Special agent Strahm is dead, and Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood.

Film – Blue Valentine at 11pm on OSN Cinema
Blue Valentine is the story of love found and love lost told in moments past and present. Dean and Cindy met when they were in their teens. Years later they get married and have a daughter but they’re not as happy as they once were. Dean loves his daughter but feels distant from his wife. They decide to spend the weekend together at a hotel, but it doesn’t take long for them to realise that the magic isn’t coming back.
