Legendary chat show host Oprah Winfrey is to interview Bobbi Kristina, daughter of the late Whitney Houston.
The interview will be aired on Sunday at 9pm on Oprah’s Next Chapter, which has previously featured in-depth interviews and profiles with Paula Deen, Steven Tyler and Joel Osteen.
Winfrey is also due to interview Whitney’s sister-in-law and manager Patricia Houston, who was one of the speakers at the singer’s funeral, as well as Whitney’s brother Gary.
“Bobbi Kristina shares personal memories of her mum and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered,” a show spokesman said. “The family also addresses the rumours and speculation surrounding Houston’s death.”
Whitney Houston was found dead in her Beverly Hills Hilton hotel room on February 11, hours before she was due to appear at mentor Clive Davis’s annual Grammys pre-party.
Prior to the Bobbi Kristina interview, the channel will air its Remembering Whitney: The Oprah Interview special, involving a 2009 interview between Winfrey and Whitney, and the 58-year-old’s personal memories of the star.
Winfrey famously interviewed Whitney in 2009 following her seven-year drug addiction.
