Late-night talkshow host Jimmy Kimmel slammed reality star Kim Kardashian while giving a speech at the 98th White House Correspondents Association Dinner in Washington DC in front of President Barack Obama.
The dinner, which brings together politicians, celebrities and the media, featured speeches from an audience of stars such as George Clooney, Lindsay Lohan and Piers Morgan.
However, Kimmel stole the limelight. “If you’re looking for the greatest threat to America right now, she’s right there,” he joked, pointing at Kardashian, “She’s Kim Kardashian.”
As Kardashian laughed it off, Kimmel scolded the president. “When you took office, the Kardashians had one reality show,” he said. “Now they have four. This is not a good trend.”
The president also included his own routine before Kimmel took the stage. He jokingly said: “Seriously guys, what am I doing here? I’m the president of the US, and I’m opening for Jimmy Kimmel? Why am I telling knock-knock jokes to Kim Kardashian? What’s she famous for anyway?”
