While personal electronic devices such as mobiles and MP3 players are getting smaller, TVs are getting bigger, smarter and becoming the focal point of living rooms.

Many people want a cinema experience without leaving their home and as a result, LG in co-operation with AJM Kooheji Group, has launched the 2012 Cinema 3D Smart TV line-up.

The LG Cinema 3D Smart TV is equipped with the most advanced 3D technology, enabling a smoother and more immersive 3D viewing, bringing a limitless world of 3D entertainment at the tip of your ‘magic’ remote, its makers say.

The TV boasts wireless display which enables easy and quick connection between the TV and computer, premium content services, over 1,200 Smart TV apps globally and a 2D to 3D conversion engine which converts all existing 2D movies and TV shows into 3D.

It also has a unique feature for gamers, LG allows dual-player games to be played on a Cinema 3D Smart TV without having to split the screen.

However, the most unique feature of this range is the Magic Remote which works the same way as a Wii remote. By simply pointing it at the TV you can select the function you want.

The product is not only stylish in its design, but breaks boundaries in quality and content as well.”

It’s not just the picture that’s 3D, LG also claims to have cracked 3D sound too. Sound Zooming generates a ‘3D sound’ that is synchronised with the displayed 3D content, allowing users to not only see, but also hear in 3D, the company says.

Mahmood Kooheji, vice chairman of AJM Kooheji Group, said LG has managed to make what is ‘reel seem real’, with the help of 3D technology.

The Cinema 3D Smart TV range is available in various sizes, it comes with 3D glasses and the model on display cost BD1,200.
