Continuing his recent run of good form, Royal Golf Club member Ali Misbah secured top spot in the midweek TNT Order of Merit with a gross score of 81.
He narrowly beat Mohamed Al Sayed by just one clear stroke and Gents’ vice captain Rob Lane finished in third place with a respectable gross 83.
In the men’s nett division Phil Sadler captured first place with a stunning nett score of 76 beating Tony Hereford who was unfortunate to lose on count back. Derek Ngo’s nett 78 was enough to give him third place.
In the ladies gross division, Lady captain Danni Sheppard continued her impressive run shooting gross 91 to win. Current Ladies Order of Merit leader Deanna Ngo took second place with a gross score of 94 while Lady vice captain Hanne Hansen made up the top three scoring gross 95.
Debbie Lane won the ladies nett division with a nett score of 81 while Dena Wales was second on nett 83. Valerie Lim’s nett 84 was enough to ensure she finished in third place.
“Well played to everyone who competed in this month’s event,” said John Wilson, the Royal Golf Club’s golf operations & events manager.
“Our nine hole night golf Order of Merit events are coming up and it’s going to be an interesting summer at the top of both the ladies and gents TNT leader boards.”
