When Jennifer Lopez announced she was leaving American Idol to focus on her film career, she wasn’t kidding. The 43-year-old entertainer is following in the footsteps of Katy Perry and Justin Bieber and releasing a documentary about her life and music.
According to her manager, Benny Medina, the movie entitled Dance Again, will focus on the last few years of her life.
The film has potential to earn box office gold with a 3D look at her sold-out tours with Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull, her two-season stint judging American Idol and her divorce from singer Marc Anthony.
Her manager explained that the title of the movie is taken from her track featuring Pitbull and is perfectly-suited for the documentary as it reflects the Latino diva’s ability to get back up and ‘dance again’ after all the struggles she’s been through recently.
No release date for Dance Again has been released.
