The search is finally over! The X Factor US has recently announced its two new hosts for the reality competition’s second season.

Although the series has already started, fans have been eagerly waiting to discover who the faces behind the hosts of the live shows are, so they will be happy to know that the wait is over.

According to TMZ, reality star Khloe Kardashian and actor Mario Lopez have reportedly signed on to host the singing competition.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star had been an early frontrunner to nab the hosting role, sharing a similar fan base as the new judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato, so it comes as no surprise that the 28-year-old has landed the part.

The 38-year-old Saved by the Bell alum, Lopez, who currently hosts Extra, is expected to join The X Factor in November for the live shows.

The duo will replace the ousted Steve Jones who was initially paired with entertainer Nicole Scherzinger.

With the NBC competitor The Voice drawing in more viewers than The X Factor, Fox hopes that the decision to bring in two young fresh faces will boost their numbers and hopefully draw in fans of the Kardashians.

The X Factor US airs every Thursday and Friday at 8pm on OSN First and OSN First HD.
