Spoilt for Christmas Shopping

IT is always during the final few days before Christmas that I visit the malls most regularly, and it is during this time that I begin to truly appreciate the wide selection of shopping destinations that Bahrain has developed.

It has only been a few years since the opening of Bahrain City Centre, and with it the mall has brought a remarkable range of new shops that had previously never been available on the island. I remember the time when I used to depend on just one mall to do the majority of my shopping. Nowadays, we have such a vast selection of shopping destinations, ranging from the highly fashionable Moda Mall to the simple commodities located at Dana.

Whatever it is I want to buy this Christmas, I know that with the combination of the many malls I will surely find what I am looking for!

But, perhaps, what is most remarkable about the Bahrain City Centre is its welcoming treatment of the festive season. Walking around the mall, it is always a cheerful sight to see the effort made in decorating for Christmas, with its own impressive ‘Winter Wonderland’. The acceptance of other traditions and festivals here in Bahrain has always been an aspect of the country I believe it should be proud of.
