Five models from Mercedes-Benz’ fierce Afalterbach division were put to the test at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) as part of the AMG Performance Tour held in Bahrain by Al Haddad Motors.
The newly-launched, SLK55, CLS63, SL63, C63 and ML 63 were on show at the event, which was attended by motoring enthusiasts from across the kingdom.
Capping a fleet that includes the C 63 AMG Coupé, CLS 63 AMG, and many more, the new AMG models headlined an impressive act.
During the day, participants had a turn at the wheel whilst being advised by top track experts and racers to command the full power, poise and pace of AMG.
Fully-demonstrating the tremendous capabilities of the new range, a ‘Performance Parcours’ area provided an opportunity to learn the techniques of handling in extreme conditions.
Briefing drivers before they put pedals to the metal, general manager Graeme Newport said: “Featuring many new models of the AMG Performance range is one of the most immersive test drive events we have held for our loyal customers and partners”.
