Husband and wife Ray and Brendy Santiago won this week’s NHSC Monday Madness Night Golf Series event at the Royal Golf Club with an impressive nett score of 32.
The duo of Depriest Daniels and Adam Guy took second place with 32.6 nett while last week’s winners, Stan and Hilde Kwik, made up the top three with a nett score of 33.8. The results put all three pairings in first, second and third place respectively on the overall series leader board with just two weeks of play left.
In the on-course side contests, Matt Doyle claimed nearest the pin on hole 12 while Hilde Kwik was nearest the pin on 16.
The competition was played in the ‘3 x 3 Rumble’ format, which combines three different formats of three holes each.
The prize presentation took place in the Club’s Members’ Lounge after play and competitors enjoyed product tasting courtesy of NHSC. Andrew Thomas, NHSC’s senior sales executive was on hand to present the prizes.
The NHSC Monday Madness Night Golf Series is open to non-members at a cost of BD20 per night for the 9-hole event. Competitors tee off every Monday evening in a 6.30pm shotgun start. To register for the next competition, email golfevents@theroyalgolfclub.com
