FRIENDLY rivalry between the British School of Bahrain and St Christopher’s School took place on the Royal Golf Club’s Wee Monty course with the revival of the Tee Cup competition.

This is the first time this match has been played since 1998 and only the third time in its existence with both prior battles having been won by BSB.

St Chris won by 3 matches to 1 with two of the games going to the very last hole.

On an individual basis Lorenzo Fantechi (St Chris) was the overall winner with Derrek Ngo (BSB) in 2nd place and Jesper Lawson-Dick (St Chris) in 3rd.

St Christopher’s School’s head of geography and celebrated golfer Barry Hobday said: “It is good to get the Tee Cup into our trophy cabinet this time!”
