Alosra Supermarket officially opened its fourth branch in the kingdom with a sleek modern twist and a tasty new line of products.
The store, known as the ‘fresh and friendly’ subsidiary of BMMI Group, is located in Riffa Views’ retail and outlet destination, Riffa Palms.
Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Hassan Fakhro led the ribbon-cutting ceremony which was attended by BMMI’s board of directors, management and other VIPs. Invited guests were given a tour of and a chance to sample its baked products.
Jaffar Al Asfoor, Alosra’s general manager, said: “We are so proud and honoured to be serving the residents of Riffa. We know that a lot of our customers take time to drive all the way to our Saar or Amwaj branches to purchase the products they know and

The Riffa supermarket has a new section on offer for shoppers called Alosra Premium which includes a handpicked range of specialty goods typically found in top-end gourmet retailers such as London’s Harrods and Selfridges.
The Premium section will include brands such as Prestat Chocolates, Rococo, Food Doctor, Jamie Oliver, Sheffield Honey, Stokes, Atkins, The London Tea Company and more.
The branch is open daily from 7am to 11pm.
