The Bahrain International Circuit is hosting a musical competition as part of the inaugural BIC National Day Festival from today until December 17 in Sakhir. The festival is being held to showcase the best of Bahrain. A panel of three judges will decide on who will take home BD3,000, BD2,000 and BD1,000 as first, second and third place prizes. Contestants will be judged on voice quality, stage presence, overall performance and audience impact. Registration costs BD10. Applicants will be divided into a four-day performance schedule, with the best performers being selected to take to the stage on the final day. The competition is open to all bands and solo musicians, but participants must perform with an accompanying instrument. Participants can present all genres of music.
