Fans of high performance motoring were treated to an impressive line-up of BMW M model vehicles at the Bahrain International Motor Show 2013.
Headlining the event was the recently-launched BMW M6 Gran Coupé, the third body variant of the BMW M6 high-performance sports car and flagship model of BMW M GmbH, a subsidiary of the company.
Also on display were a range of BMW’s successful high-performance saloons, such as the BMW M5, BMW M6 Coupé, BMW X6 M, BMW X5 and the 453i Coupé with the M Performance package.
Paul Yates, general manager of Euro Motors, said: “BMW’s M division has long been revered in the automotive industry for sports and high performance vehicles.
“The popularity and excitement of our M models continues to grow and driving a car boasting the M logo remains an exclusive experience.
“Visitors to our stand were able to view the latest BMW M vehicles on offer. We were particularly proud to have the flagship BMW M6 Gran Coupé as well as the recently launched BMW X5 and 4 Series Coupé on display.”
Launched earlier in 2013, the designers of the BMW M6 Gran Coupé say it represents the ultimate in four-door high-performance sports coupés. “The new model occupies an exclusive position in the premium segment thanks to a unique combination of outstanding dynamics, hallmark M model harmony and everyday practicality,” a spokesman added.
The BMW M6 Gran Coupé’s enhanced M styling design cues make it look sportier and more powerful.
Under its bonnet, BMW’s motor sport technology ensures that the new model matches performance with looks. The interplay of the high-revving 4.4 litre V8 engines and M TwinPower Turbo technology is accompanied by a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission with Drivelogic, Active M Differential and model-specific chassis technology, all of which ensure you get the drive of your life. Delivering 412kW/560hp, it propels the BMW M6 Gran Coupé from 0 to 100kmph in just 4.2 seconds.
