X Factor USA judge Paulina Rubio is set to swap places with the hopefuls and hit the stage for this week’s final, as she took to Twitter to reveal that she’ll be performing on the show to be shown in Bahrain on OSN tomorrow evening.
Paulina sits on the judges’ panel alongside Kelly Rowland, Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell, but she is set to perform in front of them on the night, with the singer taking to Twitter to reveal the news.
Although three acts are in the final – male vocalists Carlito Olivero, Jeff Gutt and duo Alex & Sierra – TV pundits reckon it’s a two-horse race.
No offence to Olivero who has grown stronger on stage in recent weeks, but at this point The X Factor USA title is between single dad Jeff Gutt, who loves to talk about his son, and sweethearts Alex & Sierra who are the younger, more contemporary choice, and TV Weekly’s prediction to walk away with the prize.
TV scribe Matt Carter said: “These two have delivered some strong performances for most of the competition, and while we feel like there is a clear winner, neither have been in the bottom before. Therefore, who really knows just where the public is going to go with this.
“We’re going to be factoring in performance quality and internet reaction above anything else, though we imagine that some little things in the finale, like song choice and performance order, could play a role.”
