Film – Father Of The Bride at 6.30pm on Star Movies HD
George Banks is an ordinary, middle-class man whose 21-year-old daughter Annie has decided to marry a man from an upper-class family. George isn’t too keen on the idea and can’t think of what life would be like without his daughter. He becomes slightly insane, but his wife tries to make him happy for Annie. When the wedding takes place at their home and a foreign wedding planner takes over the ceremony, George must try to handle the fact that his daughter is all grown up.

The series follows the Chance family as they find themselves adding an unexpected new member to their household. Jimmy must raise his infant daughter Hope after her mother ends up on death row for killing her multiple boyfriends. He meets Sabrina, a cheeky clerk in the supermarket and works up the nerve to ask her out on a date.

When Alison Scott is promoted in E! Television, she goes out to celebrate with her older married sister Debbie. Alison meets the reckless Ben Stone who doesn’t have any life plans and lives off of a settlement cheque he received after an old injury. Debbie leaves Allison with Ben to go tend to her sick child. After a long night of celebration, Allison and Ben end up with an unplanned pregnancy on their hands. This changes everything for Allison as her career was just about to take off and now Ben has to become more responsible.

Forensic anthropologist Dr Temperence Brennan works at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington DC. After consulting for him on an FBI case, she is approached by charming ex-Army Ranger turned Special Agent, Seeley Booth to help the Bureau solve crimes. Brennan’s view of the world causes friction with Booth’s attitude creating an explosive relationship.

His cousin Matt Garetty drives him to school and invites him to a party. They meet schoolmate Steve Montgomery, overhear a noise and find a hole in a field. They explore the underground and acquire powers. Soon the trio learn to control their telekinetic abilities and Andrew becomes the most powerful.

Skeeter is a southern society girl who returns from college determined to become a writer. She turns her friends’ lives, and a Mississippi town, upside down when she decides to interview the black women who have spent their lives taking care of prominent southern families. Aibileen, Skeeter’s best friend’s housekeeper, is the first to open up. Despite Skeeter’s life-long friendships hanging in the balance, she and Aibileen continue their collaboration and soon more women come forward to tell their stories.
