AFTER-DINNER speaker and star guest Peter Shilton stepped up to cut the ribbon and formally open the Dilmun Club’s new poolside bar, which boasts a removable screen.
The new facility was created after The Dilly teamed up with Gulf Brands International to enhance the ‘family-friendly area’ and also provide a multi-purpose stage for visiting acts to perform.
It was part of a BD30,000 summer investment in facilities. Club committee executives and Mark Rowe, general manager, attended the ceremony with members who gathered to greet the former England goalkeeper.
