The Whisperer

Let’s face it, fashion mishaps do not discriminate. It has happened to all of us at one point in time, whether you’re a celebrity such as Janet Jackson on live television or a regular compère like a well-known journalist at a children’s talent show in Bahrain, The Whisperer learnt.

After rummaging through the closet for an outfit worthy of Seef Junior Superstars Grand Finale, the reporter was confident with her thick black tights and navy blue dress ensemble. It was hip and trendy and ideal for moving around.

It was only after she arrived at Seef Mall that she was faced with an alarming discovery… her dress was sheer in bright light, which the stage was not short of.

The reporter now had five minutes to rectify the wardrobe malfunction, before appearing in front of a massive crowd which included families.

As she turned to her husband, she knew what she had to do. Together, they ran to the nearest store, where she changed into a brand new dress with the security tags still on, ran to the till and had the staff remove it while dear hubby paid for the dress. She then ran to the stage where she looked prim and proper and none the wiser. Aside from the organisers, judges and back stage crew that is!
