PLAY has launched a new entertainment space specifically designed for children eight and above.
The PLAY Lounge is inspired by the needs of older children and built with their recommendations in mind, says the childcare facility. The interactive lounge offers a variety of fun and educational activities that encourage the children to boost their creativity and imagination.
The lounge includes three main areas that cater to several preferences. The first space consists of a cooking and crafts room to enhance children’s minds and personalities through activities like baking blueberry cream-cheese muffins or designing dream catchers.
The second space is a gaming zone, fitted with televisions and gaming consoles and board games, which motivate children to learn and develop leadership qualities. Lastly, the third space is a karaoke performance area where children can sing their favorite tunes in a theater-like ambiance.
The facility, located on the first floor of Seef Mall’s new extension, previously catered to toddlers, while the new lounge offers pre-teens a space for leisure and entertainment. The duration of each PLAY session in the lounge is two hours and priced at BD10.
