Leadership experts Robin Sharma and Verne Harnish will be hosting a Success Summit at Crowne Plaza Bahrain Hotel discussing today’s key business challenges and how to overcome them.

The one-day event, to be staged on February 26, will feature an array of topics revolving around leadership, transformation, improvement and sustainability.
 
The programme, announced by the Bahrain Institute of Hospitality and Retail, will kick-off with Mr Sharma, a celebrated author of 11 international best-selling books on leadership including The Greatness Guide and The leader who had no title.

His work has been published in more than 60 countries and in nearly 70 languages.

His rise to fame was thanks to his book The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari. It topped the international best-seller lists and sold millions.

He is also the founder of Sharma Leadership International (SLI) Inc, a global consultancy that helps people in organisations. Some of his clients include Microsoft, GE, NIKE, FedEx and IBM. Organisations such as NASA, Yale University and The Harvard Business School are also SLI clients.

His Lead Without a Title lecture will focus on discovering what makes a leader, how to increase leadership influence and learning the best practices of business superstars, among other topics.

His second talk is entitled Lessons of Personal Leadership and will highlight how to improve productivity, achieve results and how to stay ahead of the game.

Mr Harnish will then deliver A Dialogue on Greatest Business Decisions Of All Time. It will showcase the challenging decision-making fundamentals, transformation and change and how to turn execution into a rewarding process.

His next programme is entitled Sustaining Great Results which will exhibit how meetings actually eliminate the perception of micromanagement, the three daily Huddle must-haves, weekly meeting checklist and the most power question to ask over the next 90 days to guarantee gain.

Mr Harnish is the founder of the world-renowned Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO) and for 15 years chaired its premiere chief executive officer programme, the Birthing of Giants and WEO’s Advanced Business executive programme both held at MIT.

He has also spent the past 30 years educating entrepreneurial teams and is the Growth Guy syndicated columnist and the Venture Columnist for Fortune magazine.
