Husband and wife Rob and Debbie Lane enjoyed a comfortable win in this week’s NHSC Monday Madness Night Golf Series competition at the Royal Golf Club with a total nett score of 30.5.
Another husband and wife pairing, Phil and Julie Dixon took the runners up spot with 32.2 nett and Paul Talwar and Wayne Giles came third with nett 33.4. Rajinder Sachdeva and playing partner Naeem Khan continue to dominate the overall order of merit with 14 points while the Lanes sit in second position with 11 points.
Over 30 golfers competed in the St Andrews Foursomes competition which was played in near perfect weather conditions.
A prize presentation ceremony took place in the club’s Members’ Lounge after play. Andrew Thomas, key account manager of NHSC, was on hand to present the prizes.
The 9 hole NHSC Monday Madness Night Golf Series competitions are open to non-members at a cost of just BD 20 per night and tee off every Monday evening with a 6:30pm shotgun start.
