Scores of coffee-lovers gathered at the newest Esquires to celebrate its opening at the weekend in Al Raya Mall, Juffair.
The latest outlet has three levels – ground, mezzanine and first floor – and follows the successful formula of outlets in Saar and Awali.
Esquires is a household name in New Zealand and Australia and introduced the popular flat white into the coffee connoisseur’s vocabulary.
It is also a popular destination for breakfasts and snacks.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Saturday evening and amongst the guests were Sharif Ahmadi, Shaikh Subah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammad bin Salman Al Khalifa, owner Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Shaikh Khalid bin Mohammad bin Salman Al Khalifa.
