Partnership announced

Mohammed Jalal & Sons has announced its new partnership with Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM) for pick-ups, vans and trucks.

In addition to manufacturing, the Chinese company’s operations also include R&D, facilitated by its state-of-the-art infrastructure and industrial expertise.

Dongfeng is currently among China’s top four automakers along with Chang’an Motors, FAW Group and SAIC Motor.

Counting six global automakers as partners, it has more Sino-foreign joint ventures than any other Chinese carmaker and it is also working towards making its presence felt in Bahrain’s market.

DFM manufactures both consumer and commercial vehicles. Its industrial automobiles’ portfolio includes medium, light and heavy-duty trucks and buses.

This range also extends to special purpose and modified vehicles used in mines, ports, oil fields, deserts and urban construction. Dongfeng also customises manufacturing to meet clients’ demands for special vehicles.
