A new BD28.5 million residential project is  being launched in the kingdom, offering property seekers spacious and affordable housing.

Juffair Heights, the brainchild of Dadabhai Development and Properties Management, is set in bustling Juffair close to restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets and boutiques.

The 28- and 29-storey freehold twin-towers will feature 376 one and two bedroom apartments that can be converted into larger three and four bedroom dwellings.

Dadabhai’s managing director, Shabeer Dadabhai, says that construction of the towers is underway.

They are expected to be ready for occupation by the third quarter of 2016 and are targeting what the company describes as the ‘medium-end’ segment of the population in Bahrain.

Mr Dadabhai said: “The freehold towers have been designed keeping in mind the requirements of this segment, particularly families. It will offer a wholesome, lifestyle accommodation to families with a range of facilities and amenities.”

The towers will feature large pools for adults and children, gymnasiums for both men and women, indoor and outdoor play areas, recreation rooms, in-house theatres, jogging and cycling tracks, landscaped areas with pergolas and walking bridges, virtual reality golf and double height reception areas.

There will also be four levels of parking.

Apartment bookings have already begun and a sample apartment is ready for viewing. It will be handled by project sales consultants, Pegasus Real Estate.

The company’s managing director, Aziz Mithaiwala, said: “Buyers are able to view the actual space and quality of the finishings before they make their decision.

“We are very enthusiastic about this project as it meets the needs of the mid-market segment without compromising on one’s lifestyle.”

The pricing of the apartments has been kept ‘affordable’, the developers say, starting at BD50,000 for a one-bedroom that is 86.6sq/m to BD65,000 for a two-bedroom 112.17sq/m unit.

Mr Mithaiwala added: “The competitive pricing structure with affordable annual maintenance will also ensure that it is an ideal investment offering healthy returns.

“Pricing has been kept extremely competitive based on the requirements the population segment looking for affordable family accommodation.”
