Gulf Weekly Newcomer offers a fine selection

The UAE-based international apparel brand Emirates Fine Fair has opened its first outlet in Bahrain … the first of 10 stores in the kingdom.

A grand launch was held at the Gulf Convention Centre under the patronage of Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr Hassan Fakhro, with Dr Mohan Kumar, Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, as guest of honour.

And, the new Fine Fair outlet in Hamad Town was inaugurated by Ali Ibn Al Sheikh Abdul Hussain Al Asfoor, governor of the Northern Governorate, on Thursday night.

The first outlet for the fashion brand paves the way for the 10 outlets planned for the kingdom, the group announced.

Fine Fair garment’s core business is ‘affordable fashion clothing’ for the modern, ‘quality-conscious’ family.

Ismayael Rawther, CEO and chairman of Fine Fair, said: “Bahrain is an emerging market with bright business opportunities, we are glad to have stepped forward to enter the market and cater to it with our affordable, quality products.

“The shoppers have a plethora of options to choose from as the country is gaining momentum in the textile and fashion sector too.”

Fine Fair’s design facility is based in the Italian city of Florence, and the group employs alumni of renowned institutes such as Polimoda Fashion Design School, Florence, and Birmingham City University in England using design cues from the four fashion capitals of the world – Paris, London, Milan and New York.

Each product undergoes a stringent quality control test with as many as 52 tests to make sure customers lay their hands only on the finest finished products, the company says. All products are manufactured at Fine Fair-owned facilities in India, Egypt, UAE, Philippines, China and Bangladesh.
