Dena and David Wales went on to win the final round of the series of six to clinch the series title of the BMMI Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club.
The duo were runners-up the previous week but enjoyed a comfortable win in the last round’s Shamble competition, with a nett score of 33.
David and Dena wrapped up the crown by finishing in the top spot of the last round over runners-up Kevin Ross and Paul Forrie, who were leading the Order of Merit going into the final round, while Tony Bridgens and Murray Brown finished in third place.
Over 14 teams took part in the competition which was blessed with relatively cool weather and a light breeze. The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Members’ Lounge.
