Life in your food

We are always talking about the food in our lives. But have you ever stopped to think about the life in your food?
Is your food dead or alive?

The food that we eat on a daily basis is supposed to give us nutrients, vitamins and minerals. It’s supposed to give us energy and vitality. It’s supposed to give us life.

But how can your food give you life if you’ve cooked it to death before even eating it?

How can you get your food to give you life and increase the life in it? Simple. Water it.

Just like water gives us life, it can also give life to our food.

Let me give you an example. Beans and pulses have lots of health benefits, but sprouted beans and pulses have even more.

Soak them in water overnight and then wrap them in a damp cotton cloth and wait two days until you see them growing root-like sprouts. The benefits of beans and pulses quadruple when they are sprouted. If you’re not sure how to sprout, there are many tutorials online. Look it up and choose a method that works for you.

And you can do the same with raw nuts and seeds. With nuts you can even just soak them for a few hours before eating them to get more benefits.

Add life to your food and let each meal give you much more.
