Albareh Art Gallery, Adliya, is hosting a painting exhibition featuring work by Faika Al Hassan. Titled ‘Wanderings’ it displays paintings framed within the confines of airplane windows. The exhibition will run until November 4.

Al Riwaq Art Space, Adliya, is hosting a charity exhibition which runs until Friday. The exhibition will feature various works from a group of Jordanian artists. The money raised will go towards domestic abuse prevention through the Aisha Yateem Family Counselling Centre charity. The Art Space’s Market 338 is also returning from November 27 to December 13. It will be held every weekend on Thursdays 5-10pm, Fridays 3-10pm and Saturdays 11am-8pm.

The British Club, at Um Al Hassam, is staging a tribute to the cult film The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Five performers from the UK will be performing the entire show tonight. The Crowne Plaza Hotel Bahrain, Manama, is hosting a special Diwali Dhamaka weekend to celebrate the festive season.

The British Club, at Um Al Hassam, is staging a production of Ladies Down Under by Amanda Whittington. There will be performances every night at 8pm until October 30.

Tonight’s performance is theatre-only and costs BD5 for members and BD7 for non-members. Performances on October 29 and 30 will be ‘dinner theatre’ which includes a seated dinner service from 6.45-7.45pm and costs BD12 for members and BD14 for non-members.

Motorsport enthusiasts will have the chance to enjoy one of Bahrain International Circuit’s (BIC) most popular public activities on Saturday when Track Xperience takes place at Sakhir.

Track Xperience offers fans a taste of the unique thrills of racing in some the world’s most powerful cars, including a Mitsubishi Evolution X, a Hyundai Genesis 2.0T and a Caterham G7.

The activity is held over three stages. Participants kick things off with a passenger ride in a 291bhp Evo X while a BIC instructor powers around the track for three laps.

They will then get a chance to personally take on the circuit themselves and drive a 210bhp Genesis for another three laps.

Finally, participants will get behind the wheel of a 160bhp Caterham for another five-lap drive.

Track Xperience will held over three sessions on Saturday, with the first at 8.45am, the second at 11.15am and the last at 2.30pm. Call the BIC Hotline on 17450000 to book and check for availability.

BIC’s Track Xperience costs BD115 per person. In order to take part, participants are required to own a valid driving licence that has been issued for at least a year. It must be presented to officials during registration.

It’s time to get into the Halloween spirit and dress to impress … the scarier, the better! Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea and Spa is set to host its second beach party for Halloween. The 34th annual Bahrain Marathon Relay is taking place on October 31, starting and finishing near the Bahrain International Circuit, Sakhir.

Entries will be strictly limited to 180 teams. The entry fee is BD175 per team for entries received on or before the Captain’s Meeting on Saturday, or BD200 per team for payments received thereafter.

The Indian Club Centenary Bahrain International Challenge 2014 badminton tournament will be held at The Indian Club, Manama, from November 4-8.
