The Bin Matar House in Muharraq is hosting a photography exhibition entitled ‘Everlasting Now’ by Mohamed Alkhatib, which highlights disappearing heritage.

Albareh Art Gallery, Adliya, is hosting a painting exhibition featuring work by Faika Al Hassan. Titled ‘Wanderings’ it displays paintings framed within the confines of airplane windows. The exhibition will run until Tuesday.

The 34th annual Bahrain Marathon Relay is taking place on Friday, starting and finishing near the Bahrain International Circuit, Sakhir.

Entries will be strictly limited to 180 teams. The entry fee is BD175 per team for entries received on or before the Captain’s Meeting on Saturday, or BD200 per team for payments received thereafter.

The Indian Club Bahrain is hosting a variety of sporting events to celebrate its Centenary Year.

First, there will be the Grand Final of The Indian Club Centenary Celebration Trans Auto Rental Snooker Tournament tonight starting at 8pm in the club’s Sanskar Hall. This is free for all.

Tomorrow night is the Grand Final of The Indian Club Centenary Cricket Cup, a seven-a-side tournament that has been played out over the last month by 30 local teams. Play will commence at 8pm.

Finally, on November 4-8, the club will also play host to The Indian Club Centenary Li-Ning Bahrain International Challenge 2014, a badminton event featuring some of the sport’s top players. See Back Page.
