THE Wheelathon, one of Bahrain’s most popular charity fund-raising events, is getting a new spin with the introduction of a children’s ‘duathlon’ event featuring some of the kingdom’s most promising athletes taking on all-comers in competition.
The race on bikes and foot for youngsters aged from 13 to 17 will follow the family fun and games which is open to all ages, on all forms of wheeled contraptions, at the Bahrain International Circuit on the afternoon of Saturday, February 21.
