The Hend Gallery in Muharraq is hosting an art exhibition titled ‘Intertwined’, featuring the work of artist Fuad Ali Albinfalah. It will run until Saturday and the gallery is open from 9am-1pm and 4pm-8pm, except Fridays.

A special Swiss gourmet feast will be available every day until March 7 at the Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain’s Silk restaurant in Muharraq. This includes classic Gruyere and Vacherin cheese melted in a white grape beverage. There is also Fondue Bourguignon served with beef cubes and a wide range of other fondues.

The menu costs BD15++ per person and is available from 7pm.

A ‘Berber Women of Morocco’ exhibition is being held at the Bahrain National Museum, Manama, until April 15 as part of the 2015 ‘Year of Heritage’ festivities. It is open from 8am-8pm. The exhibition will showcase a wide range of objects and photographs in tribute to the women who preserve the Berber culture’s identity.

Tomorrow (February 26)
There will be a classical music recital at St Christopher’s Cathedral, Manama, at 6pm by musicians David Hlawiczka and Eleonora Stanevich. The concert will feature pieces from Bach, Beethoven, Brahms and Schumann.

The Royal Country Club’s Family Movie Night takes place in the gardens from 6pm. All are welcome to attend and entry is free.

The Ramee Grand Hotel & Spa, Seef, hosts a Seafood Night every Thursday at its Lemon Tree restaurant. On offer are lobsters, shrimps, octopuses and more. The cost is BD14++ for adults.

Friday (February 27)
The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain, Hotel & Spa will host a Bahrain Food Festival from 10am. It will start with the Farmers’ Market, which will offer guests a chance to savour a traditional Bahraini breakfast or to refresh themselves with a saffron juice. In the afternoon, a BBQ and live cooking stations will be set-up at Overlook.

The 24 Hours Bahrain Karting Endurance Championship will take place today and tomorrow at the Bahrain International Circuit, Sakhir. The Baharat restaurant at Le Meridien Bahrain City Centre is hosting a ‘Fizz Fare’ brunch every Friday. Head to the Royal Golf Club for its Links Friday Carvery Brunch, which includes a range of starters, live cooking stations, traditional carved meats, desserts and more.

Saturday (February 28)
The Bahrain Farmers’ Market is being held at the Botanical Gardens, Budaiya, from 8am until noon.

The 10th edition of the Bahrain Spring of Culture kicks off this Sunday. It will continue until April 30 and will feature an extravaganza of art, music, dance and more.

Under the banner ‘Ten Bright Years’, guests will include Grammy Award-winning singer John Legend, Egyptian composer Omar Khairat (March 5), Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi (March 13), British soul singer Joss Stone (April 10) and Korean comedy and martial arts mash-up Jump (March 5, 6 & 7) perform amongst hundreds of others.

Events will take place at Bahrain’s most iconic and historic cultural landmarks, such as Arad and Bahrain Forts, the Bahrain National Museum and the Cultural Hall.
Activities such as seminars and workshops will continue throughout the year and focus on the heritage of Bahrain.
