THE President of JAC Motors An Jin enjoyed a celebratory dinner in his honour at the Crowne Plaza Hotel during his first visit to the kingdom.
The Jawad Business Group (JBG), official partners for the brand in Bahrain, also hosted a press conference to mark the occasion.
During his visit Mr An Jin praised the local JAC team and also met with the Chinese ambassador and business leaders.
JAC was launched in December 2012 in Bahrain and last year became the largest-selling Chinese vehicle in the kingdom. JAC Bahrain now offers a full range from sedans to light duty trucks.
The flagship model JAC J5 has been a ‘great success’ says JBG due to its ‘performance and value for money’. The JAC minibus Refine is also ‘widely used’ by commercial customers for both the passenger-vehicle segment and for commercial cargo.
There are currently several new models in the pipeline including the Mini SUV S3, which will be unveiled here later this year. It has already achieved notable success in China with 900 units being sold in one day. and 10,000 units per month.
