Gulf Weekly Sean Paul – F1 Legendary Party – KLUB360º

TEMPERS rose at Elite Crystal hotel’s KLUB360º when Sean Paul fans struggled for air and were unable to groove on the dance floor.

The Jamaican reggae rapper and singer said he was thrilled to be in Bahrain and promised to deliver ‘a lot of chaoticness’ (his words) to his fans. Chaos was exactly what they got as dancehall devotees were pushed left and right and squashed in a pit-like arena.

Preschool teacher, Livana Gross, 21, from Tubli, fumed: “The concert was good but the venue was too small, crowded and hot. We paid so much money to watch him perform and ended up only catching him on the monitors around the club.”

The Juffair venue was so jam-packed that one fan passed out in the heat as she tried to leave the dance floor and fell on her husband. The Grammy award-winner, however, put on a perfect performance and tried his best to bring order. At one stage he stopped the music to yell at the ‘Rude Boys” for shoving women against the stage.

The audience went crazy when he performed hits like Deport Them, Baby Girl and Get Busy. He then delivered his soulful songs I’m Still in Love With You, Bailando and She Doesn’t Mind.

The one-hour set was a delight and Sean Paul proved to be an entertainer of the highest calibre … it’s just a shame that like his song, we were all stuck together Like Glue.
