THE American Mission Hospital (AMH) recently held a Fun Health Day at its Amwaj branch. The event which comprised free health checks and games for children was part of the hospital’s community outreach initiative.
The event was open to the general public and attracted a large attendance. AMH also invited the children of the Sanabel Orphans Society to join in the event and they received free health checks and enjoyed a selection of rides and games.
AMH CEO Dr George Cheriyan said: “Our community outreach is the most dearest and esteemed endeavour of the hospital. Conducting these programmes reminds us of the sacrifices of our pioneers and we are blessed to be able to continue with their mission of serving and caring for the community.”
