From Broadway, the West End, and theatres across the world, the celebrated musical Cats is coming to Bahrain!
MASK Theatre Company has taken on the challenge of leading a cast of nearly 90 performers, including 30 children, to stage what has come to be known as the show that revolutionised musical theatre.
The entire company has been involved in a frenzy of feline activity and taking the Bahrain Rugby Football Club (BRFC) by storm two-to-three times weekly.
The level of commitment is high for the demands of the show and cats can be seen regularly prowling around Bahrain prancing through the malls!

Cats is a wonderful musical that mixes challenging musical and dancing group scenes with strong solos for the numerous performers. The audience will love the energy in the show.
Just to name a few of our talented feline stars, MASK welcomes back Scarlet Robinson, Gabriella Liandu, Deema Turkomani and Ali Adenwala who have starred in many previous MASK productions including Oliver!, Wizard of Oz, West Side Story and Peter Pan.
We are also very happy to be joined by celebrated local talents Fred Edwin, Erika Nottingham-Rawles and Anna Thompson-Hall.
This production will also feature some exciting debut performances by newly-discovered young performers such as Rence Pachoco, Elena Shokry, Alya Ali Hussein, Nelith Alwis, Vishnu Priya, Ali Ghurbal and Isa Al Aradi.
The artistic expression in Cats doesn’t end here. The creation of the costumes of the Jellicle Cats is now about to start.
Staging a show of this calibre is a costly venture and as for all our shows, we rely on the generosity of our sponsors and partners to ensure the success of the production.

Cats is a non-profit venture and we are also sponsoring some of our cast who are from lower income families to enable them to join us.
It is our hope that the show will not only cover costs but enable us to support future generations of young people to study the arts through our scholarship programme, and also make a substantial donation to a Bahrain-based charitable organisation.
