Peter O’Brien narrowly won this month’s DHL Order or Merit competition at the Royal Golf Club with a gross score of 82.
Matthew Deakin clinched second place with 83 on count back while Rob Lane came third, also with a score of 83. Deakin’s nett score of 73 on count back was enough for him to clinch the men’s nett division. Reinhold Lutz was runner-up, also on 73 nett and Sam Jong Kim came third with 75 nett.
Former lady captain Hanne Hansen won the ladies gross division with a score of 97. Dena Wales and Samantha Hill came second and third respectively on count back after both achieved scores of 98. Karin Lutz, the club’s 2015 Lady Vice Captain, won the nett category on count back with a score of 79 nett. Jeong Hae Kwak was runner up, also on 79 nett and Samantha Hill was third with the same score.
Taimur Malik won the junior category of the popular monthly members’ event with a score of 81 net.
