From Darth Vader
to Voldemort, the world has perhaps never had a true villain until infamous TV personality Katie
Hopkins appeared on screen.
Descibed as a ‘motor-mouth’ and ‘rent-a-gob’ in the Press, the British television personality and
columnist first appeared on the small screen as a contestant on the UK series of The Apprentice, a
popular reality TV series highlighting aspiring businessmen and women.
Since a clip of her arguing with the late Peaches Geldof (RIP) went viral over the topic of
attachment parenting, the 40-year-old has taken her stardom to new heights … or new depths.
Recently known for her brutal comments on Twitter for calling Kim Kardashian ‘fat’ to advising the
UK government to shoot down immigrants, she also made a cruel jibes about actress Jacqueline Jossa’s
child saying: ‘hairy babies really scare me. Like finding a spider on your pillow’.
That resulted in Hopkins receiving hate and death threats that she is more than used to at this
stage of her ‘career’.
Many people started considering her as a troll when she returned to Breakfast TV suggesting baby
names determine the personality of the child.
As a columnist, I can relate to her need to post her feelings, however, when it gets to the extent
of insulting every person she mentions it just becomes too much. I sincerely hope her aspiration as a
child was not to become the most hated woman of the 21st Century.
