The organising committee behind the coming ‘Shop Bahrain’ festival has launched a nationwide ‘Shopping Bag Design’ competition targeting school and university students. The competition, aimed at promoting the creative and art skills of students, will run until November 30.
Shop Bahrain, is set to be the biggest nationwide festival with a unique 30-day celebration of Bahrain’s heritage, hospitality and tourism offering for the entire family running from December 24 until January 23.
Shop Bahrain director, Nawaf Al Koheji, said: “We have great talent in Bahrain and we would like to showcase this artistic ability.”
To take part in the ‘competition, participating students must submit their final artwork to shoppingbag@shopbahrain.com The email should also include information such as name, date of birth, ID number and the name of school or university.
A panel will review all the entries and select the top five. The winning designs will be produced on the festival’s promotional shopping bags and distributed to participating malls. The winners will also receive a gift from the festival’s committee.
