Endless Salon and Spa, situated in a 3,000sq/ft villa tucked by the sea in Tubli, offers a plethora of services for women requiring a little or a lot of rest and relaxation. It offers everything from body scrubs to manicures at the ultimate one-stop beauty shop.

With 10 massage rooms, two hydro baths, two herbal steam units, two Moroccan bath rooms, six hair stations, three manicure and three pedicure stations it is well equipped for all kinds of ‘heavenly healing’.

My colleague Carmen Estacio rocked up feeling absolutely weary and ragged after a busy week at work in order to appreciate the chance of being fully rejuvenated (it helped that we were nearly killed during the drive over and I have been acting as GI Jane in the gym lately).

The ‘grand’ foyer was a welcoming sight and the interior was clean, elegant and simple. The changing area was discreet with a prayer room, lockers and loads of toiletries and towels smelling of Sacura flower … so peaceful and serene.

Carmen indulged in her first-ever Moroccan bath experience featuring a brand new product line that promised to brighten, moisturise and exfoliate leaving the body radiant, smooth and fresh.

The experience from start to finish was delightfully decadent. Her beautician, Niji, who assisted her made her feel comfortable and welcome.

Stretched out in the steamy-scented bathroom she was washed with warm water and black soap. An olive oil solution was then applied to her body and Carmen was left for 10 minutes to soak up the goodness and allow her pores to open, while her hair was washed and head massaged.

She was then rinsed off and exfoliating cream was applied. The brightening cream was next and she was wrapped in plastic like a cocoon before being rinsed again this time with cooler water to close the pores.

To end the session she sat with a relaxing cup of tea allowing her to float away with good vibrations and reminisce over the whole experience.

She said: “I had a great time. After the treatment my skin was glowing and I had a fresh ‘reborn’ feeling.

“I felt amazing and will now come back once-a-month. My skin now feels as smooth as silk.”

My experience wasn’t bad either. I took the one-hour session with talented Thai masseuse, Pew, whose magic hands and 12 years of knowledgeable experience of how to treat blocked nerves, increase blood flow and manoeuvre muscles were amazing.

This was by far the best massage I have ever had. Within minutes my mind was clear and calm due to a combination of aromatherapy, ambient lighting and the feeling of sheer privacy of the massage rooms in the villa.

The eight of the rooms are tucked up on the second floor and are ultra-private with a simple, clean aesthetic. After I chose my oil scent I relaxed and enjoyed the therapy session. What shocked me was how easily she took away a nerve pain I had suffered due to a strain caused by my recent workout regime.

I told her my sorry tale, detailing my pain, and she applied the right amount of pressure and made it completely disappear.

After the full body massage she twisted and played with me like a marionette and I cracked in places I didn’t know would, or could, crack. I left feeling like a brand new woman swearing that I would return to this talented Thai princess each month from now on.

After the massage, I headed to the relaxation room for a special brew of organic tea flown in from my home country of Canada, which obviously sat in my good graces, being a Canuck and all, and admired the décor in one of the three large lounge chairs.

I could hear Carmen giggling and chatting away to the ladies downstairs so I headed down to see what the fuss was about. The salon has a new aesthetician from the UAE with seven years experience so I decided to get in on that action and had her show me her talents. I ended up with a gorgeous pale rose pink gel polish with white and silver flowers on my index fingers. Super cute.

There is something for women of all ages at this spa, with help offered also to expectant and post natal mums. For example, a herbal steam detox is helpful after birth to clear toxins. These services start from BD20 for a 60-minute ‘Pregnancy Purifying Massage’ to BD35 for a full ‘Post Natal Recharge’ which is particularly helpful for those suffering from baby blues.

Spa and salon director, Suphavidree Nasomchai-Eit, aims to offer the ‘crème-de-la-crème’ for all women and said: “We have quality staff, products and services and take extra care of hygiene and cleanliness. It is also very important to us that we offer something affordable to everyone.”
