St Christopher School’s senior production, When the Curtain Falls, will take place at the school’s Isa Town campus today and tomorrow at 7pm. It tells a story of nostalgia through extracts of classic scenes and recognisable songs; as a treasured theatre closes down and one stage-door keeper revisits haunting renditions of unforgettable past productions.
It is open to the public and tickets, priced BD5, are available from the reception at both the Isa Town and Saar campuses.

Tomorrow (December 3)
The InterContinental Regency Hotel is hosting its Christmas bazaar in the Al Rifaa ballroom from 3pm, and a Christmas tree lighting ceremony later at 6pm in the lobby. It will be accompanied by an acoustic performance from resident band The Explosions and the children’s choir of St Christopher’s School.
Turkish artist Suna Kocal is hosting a Turkish marbling workshop, for children aged between 10 and 17, at the Al Fateh Corniche Art Centre from 3pm-5pm.
The Bahrain Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BSPCA) is staging a Christmas-themed quiz at the Dilmun Club’s Candles restaurant from 7.30pm. There will be prizes on offer for best festive outfit and best festive team name, a photo booth, karaoke and a raffle.

A ‘B2B - Meet The Big Boys’ event will be held at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry headquarters in Sanabis from 9.30am-2pm.
It will feature small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) entrepreneurs who will get a chance to interact with large corporates and institutes, with the aim of encouraging partnerships and creating business opportunities.
Artist Thajba Najeeb’s collection of canvases and murals, entitled My Love Affair Continues … will open to the public at the Bahrain Financial Harbour West Tower Reception at 4pm and run until February 6.
