Children can now enjoy bigger rides and more interactive games at Marina Mall’s new play zone.
Landmark Leisure, the entertainment division of Landmark Group, recently launched its third Fun City centre.
Marina Bachvarova, Landmark Leisure’s marketing executive, said: “This Fun City includes more games and bigger rides with our most popular ones being the Jump Around and the bumper cars. We also have a soft play area, specially designed for children aged one to eight, keeping younger kids sharp by jumping, crawling, sliding and socialising.
“What we are trying to do is to create a neighbourhood community spirit. We want the people living close by to have fun with their families and for visiting children to be happy.”
A group of students from Al Dana Nursery and Al Bashaier Kindergarten were the first to test the facilities for its fun factor and gave the thumbs up to the Play Zone area’s multi-level climbing frames, crawl tunnels, padded obstacles, rope bridges, ball pools and slides.
There are also a number of arcades as well as rides such as the Mini Convoy and the Hello Kitty Fun House at the attraction.
Zainab, two-and-a-half, spent most of her time on the space adventure rocket ship ride. Her father, Mohammed Ismaeel, 34, said: “We always come to this mall so it’s good that Zainab now has a place to play and have fun in.”
Fun City is also located in Oasis Centre, Muharraq, and Osais Centre, East Riffa. The play paradise is open all week to visitors from 10am-10pm on week days and 10am-11pm at the weekend.
